Chateau Martinay
Carpentras - Provence, France
A Place Filled with History
Château Martinay is the prime example of a “Chateau de plaisance” with each and every detail inviting the guests to relaxation and self-indulgence.
Originally built in 1763 by the illustrious family of Les Isnards, Château Martinay was designed in an elegant neo-classical style. Partially destroyed during the French Revolution, it was faithfully rebuilt in 1836 by Marquis Louis II of the Isnards, who used stones salvaged from the recently dismantled ramparts of Carpentras for the restoration. For over three centuries, Château Martinay has embodied the soul of Provençal elegance—a sanctuary where history lingers in every stone, and the spirit of celebration, family, and refined living has shaped its enduring legacy.

If you are arriving late at night or very early in the morning, we advise pre-booking a taxi in advance, as taxi availability can be more limited during those hours.
